Mobile Notary Public - Texas
NotarySix is a family-owned mobile notary service founded by Vern and Ranae Six. We bring the stamp to you - your home, your office, the hospital, or the coffee shop down the street.
Services
If it needs a signature witnessed and a seal, chances are we can help. These are the documents we handle every week - if yours is not on the list, just ask.
Deeds, closing packages, refinances, and other real estate paperwork.
Financial, medical, and limited powers of attorney - often needed on short notice, which is exactly when a mobile notary helps.
Self-proving affidavits, trust documents, and other estate paperwork prepared by you or your attorney.
Oaths, affirmations, and sworn statements for court, insurance, and personal matters - administered properly and on time.
Bills of sale, lien releases, and title paperwork that needs a notarized signature. The transfer itself still happens at the county office - we handle the notary part.
Parental consent for minor travel, school forms, medical authorizations, and the everyday paperwork families run into.
How It Works
Tell us what you need notarized, where you are, and what time works for you. We confirm the total cost - notary fee plus travel - before we book anything.
Your notary arrives at your chosen spot. Have your unexpired government-issued photo ID ready.
We verify your ID, witness your signature, complete the notarial certificate, and apply the seal. Then the document goes straight back in your hands - it never leaves with us. Most appointments take ten minutes or less.
About Us
We are Vern and Ranae Six - the "Six" in NotarySix. We own and run this business together, and we built it on a simple idea: important documents deserve a real person across the table.
We do our work face to face. We show up, we take our time, we answer your questions, and we make sure everything is done right the first time - because a rejected document costs you far more than the notary fee.
NotarySix starts with our family, but it will not end there. As demand grows, we are adding commissioned notaries to the team - every one of them held to the same standard: show up in person, on time, and get it done right.
Service Area
We cover eight Central Texas counties: Bell, Williamson, Milam, Falls, McLennan, Coryell, Limestone, and Robertson. That includes:
And the communities in between. Not sure if you are in our area? Call or text - if we can get there, we will.
As for the meeting spot, we will meet you wherever works best for you.
Pricing
Texas law caps what a notary may charge for each notarial act, and we charge within those limits. The only addition is a travel fee based on distance - quoted up front when you book, never after.
FAQ
An unexpired government-issued photo ID (driver license, state ID, passport, or military ID) and the complete, unsigned document. Do not sign before we arrive - we need to witness the signature.
Wherever works best for you, any time of day. If it is a spot where we can sit down with you, your ID, and your document, it works.
Never. You hold onto your document, we witness your signature, stamp it, and hand it right back. We keep a record-book entry of the notarization as Texas law requires, but the document itself never leaves with us.
Yes. We regularly notarize at hospitals, rehab centers, and assisted living facilities. The signer must be alert, willing, and able to communicate their intent - please call ahead so we can talk through the situation.
Not at this time. We are a traditional mobile notary service and handle every signing in person. If your document specifically requires remote online notarization, we are happy to point you in the right direction.
In Texas, the will itself is not notarized - what we notarize is the self-proving affidavit attached to it. That is a sworn statement, signed by you and your two witnesses in front of a notary, confirming the will was properly executed. With it, the probate court accepts the will without hunting down your witnesses years later. For the appointment, the person making the will and both witnesses must all be present, each with an unexpired photo ID. If your will has no self-proving affidavit, an attorney has to add one - we cannot prepare it for you.
No. We are not attorneys, so we cannot prepare documents, give legal advice, or tell you which notarial certificate to choose. Your document should be complete before we arrive, with only the signature blank.
Often in just a couple of hours, depending on our schedule and your location. Call or text and we will give you an honest answer right away.
Yes - we visit county jails across our service area. Inmate notarizations take extra coordination around ID and facility rules, so we put the full rundown on its own page: jail notary services.
Call or text and we will confirm your appointment, location, and total cost in one conversation.
